1. Who we are
This website, appmediaindia.com, is operated by Spectrotags Technologies Private Limited, an Indian private limited company trading under the brand name AppMedia India.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Spectrotags Technologies Private Limited, and “you” means the person visiting this website.

We are the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the data controller under the EU and UK GDPR, for any personal data described here.
2. Scope and your consent
This policy covers this website only. Each application we publish has its own privacy policy, because each app collects different things. If you are looking for an app policy, use these links:
This policy also does not apply to any third-party website you reach from a link here. Those sites have their own policies, which you should read.
By using this website you agree to this policy. If you do not agree with it, please stop using the site. Because the site collects almost nothing, there is very little to consent to — as the next section explains.
3. Information we collect
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and no advertising, and stores nothing in your browser. We do not use localStorage or sessionStorage, and we do not track you across pages or across sites.
That is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly, so here is the full picture.
3.1 Information you provide
The only place you can enter anything is the form on our Contact page. That form has no server behind it. When you press Send, a small script builds a message and hands it to your own email application — nothing is transmitted to this website and nothing is stored here.
If you then choose to send that email, we receive it in our mailbox: your email address, your name if you give it, the subject and whatever you wrote. We also receive anything you send by writing to support@appmediaindia.com directly.
3.2 Information collected automatically
We run no analytics on this site. However, like every website, the pages are delivered by a web server, and that server keeps standard technical logs of the requests it handles. Those logs are created by our hosting provider, not by code we have added, and typically contain the IP address making the request, the date and time, the page requested, the HTTP status code, the referring page and the browser user-agent string.
We use these logs only to keep the site online and secure. We do not use them to profile visitors and we do not combine them with anything else.
Beyond that, we do not collect your name, email address, phone number or location from your visit, and we do not fingerprint your device.
3.3 Information from third parties
We do not buy personal data and we receive none about you from data brokers, advertisers or social networks. We have no social media tracking pixels, no embedded videos and no chat widgets on this site.
4. How we use information
We use what little we hold only for the purposes below.
- To reply to you. If you email us, we use your message and email address to answer, investigate the point you raised, and keep a record of the exchange.
- To handle rights and deletion requests. Where you exercise a right under section 10, we use the details you give us to identify the relevant records and act on the request.
- To keep the website running. Server logs let our host diagnose errors, measure load and detect abuse such as automated scanning or attempted intrusion.
- To meet legal obligations. We may use or retain information where the law, a court order or a lawful request from a competent authority requires it.
We do not use your information for marketing. We do not send newsletters or promotional email, and we do not add you to any mailing list. We do not sell, rent or trade anything you send us.
5. Legal basis for processing
| Purpose | Basis (DPDP Act 2023) | Basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Answering your email | Consent — you chose to write to us | Art. 6(1)(b) / 6(1)(f) legitimate interests |
| Handling a rights or deletion request | Legitimate use — compliance with the Act | Art. 6(1)(c) legal obligation |
| Server logs for security and availability | Legitimate use | Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interests — keeping the site secure |
| Meeting statutory obligations | Legitimate use | Art. 6(1)(c) legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed that interest against your rights and kept the data to the minimum needed. You may object — see section 10.
6. Third-party services
This website loads exactly one external resource, and it is a font service. There are no analytics, advertising, tag manager, heat-mapping or social media services on this site.
| Service | Provider | What it receives | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts | Google LLC | Your IP address, browser user-agent and the referring page, as part of the request your browser makes for the font files. Google states that Google Fonts sets no cookies and does not use these requests to build advertising profiles. | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Web hosting | Our hosting provider | Standard server request logs as described in section 3.2, held on the provider's infrastructure on our behalf | Available on request from support@appmediaindia.com |
The applications we publish use their own set of services — Google Play Services, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics and, where an app is ad-funded, Google AdMob. Those are disclosed in full in each app's own privacy policy, not here, because they do not run on this website.
8. Data retention
| Data category | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Emails you send us and our replies | 24 months from the date the matter is closed |
| Records of rights or deletion requests | 24 months, as a minimal log entry evidencing that we acted |
| Web server request logs | Up to 3 months, then overwritten by our host |
| Contact form entries | Not applicable — nothing is stored; the form only opens your email app |
| Cookies and browser storage | Not applicable — none are set |
| Records required by Indian law | Only as long as the relevant statute requires |
When a period ends we delete the data or reduce it to anonymous form that can no longer identify anyone.
9. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect what we hold.
- Encryption in transit. The site is served over HTTPS with TLS, so pages and any link you follow are encrypted between your browser and the server.
- Access controls. Access to our mailbox and hosting control panel is restricted to the few people who need it and protected by strong, unique credentials with multi-factor authentication.
- Data minimisation. The most effective safeguard is not collecting data. This site has no database, no user accounts and no stored form submissions, so there is no store of visitor data to breach.
- Maintenance. We keep server software patched and review the site's configuration periodically.
Breach notification. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India in the manner and within the timeframe required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and inform affected people without undue delay by email or by a prominent notice on this site. The notice will describe what happened, what data was involved, what we are doing about it and what you can do.
10. Your rights
10.1 India — Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
As a Data Principal you have the right to: obtain a summary of the personal data we process about you and the processing activities we carry out; have inaccurate or misleading data corrected, incomplete data completed and data updated; have personal data erased where it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for; obtain grievance redressal from our Grievance Officer (section 15); nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity; and withdraw consent at any time where processing rests on consent.
You also have a duty not to raise false or frivolous grievances and not to impersonate another person when making a request. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
10.2 EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland — GDPR
You have the right to access your personal data; to rectification; to erasure; to restriction of processing; to object to processing based on legitimate interests; to data portability; to withdraw consent at any time; and not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing producing legal effects — we carry out no such processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority, though we would ask you to raise it with us first.
10.3 California — CCPA and CPRA
You have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, why, and to whom we disclose them; to request a copy of the specific pieces we hold; to request deletion; to request correction; to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we collect none); and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is no opt-out mechanism to operate.
10.4 How to exercise a right
Email support@appmediaindia.com describing what you want us to do. Write from the address you contacted us on where you can, so we can match your request to our records. We acknowledge every request within 7 days and respond substantively within 30 days. There is no charge.
11. Data deletion
To have the emails and records we hold about you erased, write to support@appmediaindia.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request — Website”. We will confirm within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, keeping only what a statute obliges us to keep.
Looking to delete data from one of our apps instead? Each app has its own deletion page with step-by-step instructions and a full data table:
Deletion is irreversible. Once records are deleted we cannot restore them.
12. Children's privacy
This website is a business site describing an app development company. It is intended for a general and professional audience, is not directed to children under 13, and has nothing on it aimed at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. As the site collects nothing automatically beyond server logs, the only way a child could give us information is by sending an email.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, processing the personal data of a child under 18 requires verifiable parental consent, and behavioural advertising directed at children is prohibited. We do neither.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent us personal information, contact support@appmediaindia.com and we will delete it from our records promptly.
13. International data transfers
We are based in India and our records are administered from India. Some of the infrastructure we rely on is global: font files are served by Google from servers worldwide, and email and hosting providers may process or back up data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union.
Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, our providers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and adequacy decisions where they apply. We rely on those safeguards as their customer.
Under the DPDP Act 2023, transfers outside India are permitted except to countries the Central Government restricts by notification. We will comply with any such notification affecting the services we use. Wherever processing happens, this policy continues to apply.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site changes, when we add or remove a service, or when the law changes. The current version is always at this URL, and the effective and last-updated dates appear at the top of the page.
For a material change we will update those dates and publish the revised policy here before it takes effect. Where the law requires fresh consent, we will ask for it. Minor corrections that do not change meaning may be made without notice. To ask what changed in a revision, write to support@appmediaindia.com.
15. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we publish our Grievance Officer's contact details. You may raise any complaint about this policy, this website or how your data has been handled.
